SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- ZARS Pharma announces the appointment of Greg Ayers as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ayers brings to ZARS more than 20 years of diversified financial experience from within the life sciences and technology industries.
Prior to joining ZARS, Mr. Ayers served as CFO of PhereSys Therapeutics, a medical services company, and led the IPO of UroQuest Medical Corporation, a medical device company, which was later acquired by Chemfab Corporation. At OccuLogix Corporation he led the business development efforts and financing activities as VP of Business Development. In addition, Mr. Ayers was the CFO of Intransa, Inc. and Top Tier Software, Inc. which was acquired by SAP, and Xanthon, Inc. which was acquired by Talk2 Technologies. Previously, Mr. Ayers was employed by KPMG in the US, UK and Australia. Mr. Ayers holds a B.B.A. from Stetson University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
