INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- WellPoint, Inc. is expanding its Central Region to include the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri, HealthLink, a network rental and administrative services business; UniCare, offering non-Blue branded managed care products; and the Federal Employee Program enterprise-wide.
Keith Faller, who was president of Anthem's Midwest Region prior to the merger, has been tapped to lead the expanded region as president and CEO.
"Keith Faller brings a wealth of knowledge from his deep roots in our company and our industry," said WellPoint, Inc. president and CEO Larry Glasscock in naming Faller to his new post. "Through his focus on service improvement, the Anthem plans in the Midwest have grown substantially under his leadership."
