TMG Health Plans Major Expansion In Scranton Area

SCRANTON, Pa., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- TMG Health, Inc., a national business process outsourcing firm with local offices in the Scranton Enterprise Center, is planning a major expansion in Lackawanna County that will retain 413 existing employees and create 730 new jobs for Northeastern Pennsylvania residents.

Thanks to a major financial incentive from the State of Pennsylvania and the administration of Gov. Edward G. Rendell, TMG Health will expand its operations to include a 70,000-square-foot customer support facility on the O’Neill Highway in Dunmore. TMG Health offers Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services for insurers, employers, health plans and providers in the Medicare, Medicaid and Group Retiree health plan markets.

Founded in 1998, TMG Health expects to have 615 employees by the end of this year. Of that total, 250 will work in the Scranton Enterprise Center and 170 will be in the new Dunmore facility. TMG also employs another 183 people who work directly from their homes in Northeastern Pennsylvania and 12 people at its corporate headquarters in King of Prussia, near Philadelphia. The remainder of the 730 new jobs is expected to be created over the next few years.

The $3.71 million financial aid package from the state includes a combination of direct grants, job-training assistance funding and tax credits.
