SEMDA Announces Date for 2013 Conference

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - May 14, 2012) -

The Southeastern Medical Device Association’s (SEMDA) 7th annual conference will take place on February 19-20, 2013. Recognized as the premier gathering for the Southeast medical device industry, the conference balances presentations by medical device companies to investors with educational programs, partnering and networking opportunities.

“The 2012 Conference was the most successful in the organization’s history, and we are building on that success by incorporating lessons learned for the 2013 Conference,” said Charlie Harrison, SEMDA’s 2012-2013 president and Global COO of Medical Compression Systems, Inc.

Art Spalding, Founder of TAMM Net, Inc., has been named as Chairman of the 2013 Conference, and Angela Sinton, Senior Partner at Medical Device Marketing, will serve as Vice Chairman.

The Conference will again be held at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center, a midtown Atlanta conference facility that offers a professional learning environment with room for presentations and meetings, complemented by state-of-the-art technology capabilities.
