Rapid Product Development Group, Inc. (www.RPDG.com) introduces Complex Injection Molded Medical Device Parts in days via Rapid Injection Tooling (RIT). This exciting new process provides complex Medical Device injection molded parts in 5-11 days (with a maximum part size of 170mm X 280mm X 70mm). RIT can accommodate undercuts (internal and external), complex details and features, and polished or textured surface finishes producing production quality injection molded parts.
A wide variety of thermoplastic and engineering plastic resins are available including glass-filled and high temp materials. Mold materials including aluminum and steel are used for RIT construction, yielding tool lifes from 1,000 to 100,000 shots. Over-molding and insert molding are also available via RIT.
