Cambridge’s Pronutria on Tuesday unveiled details about its funding from founder Flagship Ventures and its plans to offer novel nutrient products that can treat diseases. Pronutria, formerly named Essentient, has been developing its products in stealth mode for two years after launching in the VentureLabs arm of Cambridge-based Flagship. The company disclosed Tuesday that it raised $10.8 million in Series A funding during that time.
