Pamela J. Bjorkman, Ph.D. And Ronald Levy, M.D. To Headline IBC’s Antibody Engineering Event

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- IBC’s 15th annual international conference on Antibody Engineering to be held November 30 - December 3, 2004 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in CA will feature two industry leaders to address its keynotes. Pamela J. Bjorkman, Ph.D., Max Delbruck Professor of Biology and Full Investigator of Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Executive Officer for Biology in the Department of Biology of the California Institute of Technology will address “Fc Receptors -- From Molecules to Cells.” The same day, Ronald Levy, M.D., Professor and Chief in the Division of Oncology for Stanford School of Medicine will address “Antibodies are Drugs -- Now We Need to Understand Them and Improve Them.”

Celebrating its 15th year of being the industries benchmark for the antibody engineering field, the Antibody Engineering event is the largest of its kind, bringing in over 50 of the world’s leading experts to present new information. Among some of the data to be presented for the first time are:

Being held in conjunction with IBC’s 2nd Annual Antibody Therapeutics covering the key aspects of the development of antibodies as therapeutic products will offer extensive networking opportunities.
