The Company has discovered that a single anti-aging enzyme SIRT-1 can be targeted directly through one of its external activators RezGen5. Normally, this enzyme is activated in the body by calorie restriction and exercise. The expectation is that NeoMedigen's small molecule will avert degenerative diseases of aging like diabetes, heart disease, immune function, corrective dermatology, and Alzheimer's.
The company's current focus is on the prevention of childhood obesity & aging skin. NeoMedigen's RezGen5 is designed to target childhood obesity which is one of the most serious public health challenges of the 21st century.
