St. Louis, MO – August 19, 2009 – Biomedical Systems, a global provider of centralized diagnostic services for pharmaceutical and medical device clinical trials, recently announced the appointment of Linda Cruz to the post of Business Development Director, Imaging Services. Ms. Cruz has over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and will report to Sam Dranoff, Vice President, Business Development.

Ms. Cruz will work out of her base office in Philadelphia, PA. Her main responsibilities will be to serve as a central point of contact with pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations and medical device manufacturers in the eastern part of the United States. She is an active member and has served on the Greater Philadelphia Boards of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA).
