PRINCETON, N.J., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Besler Consulting, a leading financial and operational consultancy to healthcare providers, has announced that Joseph M. Lemaire has joined the firm as vice president of operations.
Phil Besler, president and chief executive officer of the consulting firm, made the announcement. Mr. Besler said Mr. Lemaire’s arrival at Besler Consulting is in keeping with the company’s strategic approach to expansion of our company’s business and growth of our product lines.

According to Mr. Besler, Mr. Lemaire’s career spans 28 years as the audit partner for over 30 hospitals and healthcare organizations. His responsibilities have included directing feasibility studies covering over $1.0 Billion in tax-exempt bond financings, participating in the formation of 10 integrated delivery systems and directing numerous consulting engagements in the areas of reimbursement, system implementation, financial turnarounds and revenue cycle improvement
Beginning in 1976 as a staff auditor with Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF), whose healthcare practice was acquired by Ernst & Young in 1991 (E&Y), Mr. Lemaire was the lead healthcare partner in New Jersey for E&Y and continued in this role through the merger with Cap Gemini in 2000. Mr. Lemaire is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and New Jersey and is active in the Healthcare Financial Management Association, (HFMA) having served as president of the New Jersey chapter. Mr. Lemaire is also a member of the Medical Group Management Association, American Hospital Association and the New Jersey Hospital Association.
