MADISON, Wis., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Imago(R) Scientific Instruments, a world leader in atomic-scale imaging and Nanolytical(R) solutions, today announced the appointment of Dr. Jason Schneir as Director of Marketing. Jason will be responsible for all domestic and international marketing activities for the company and its LEAP(R) product line.

Dr. Schneir brings more than 20 years of nanotechnology experience and nine years of capital equipment marketing and sales experience to his new role. Prior to joining Imago, Jason served as Director of Sales and Marketing with KLA-Tencor Co. During his nine years with KLA-Tencor, Dr. Schneir introduced a number of new products and had direct sales responsibility for the sale of VLSI Standards products (KLA-Tencor subsidiary) and KLA-Tencor General Metrology products. Jason also served seven years at NIST as a scientist researching Scanning Probe Microscope based Nanotechnology. Jason holds a Ph.D. degree in Physics from University of California Santa Barbara and a B.S. in Physics from SUNY Stony Brook.
