NEW YORK, July 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ramp Corporation today announced that its HealthRamp, Inc. subsidiary and Software Unlimited Inc. ("SUI") have signed an agreement to promote HealthRamp's CarePoint e-prescribing and e-transmission technologies to existing and prospective SUI customers. As part of the agreement, SUI will create a proprietary interface to extract patient information from their Practice Management System for export to the CarePoint e-prescribing and e-transmission system. "Our partnership with SUI is a core part of our regional deployment strategy. As healthcare delivery is a highly fragmented, local industry, partnering with strong regional practice management systems, and other local healthcare providers, are among our highest priorities. Software Unlimited's 19-year history of providing Medical Mastermind to its customers provides us instant credibility with their physician users. Working together, we can provide CarePoint's point-of-care solutions to Medical Mastermind's users, while closely integrating with a practice's existing Medical Mastermind system," stated Andrew Brown, Ramp CEO and President.
"We are excited to be able to offer to our loyal and sophisticated customer base CarePoint's electronic prescribing technology, at the point-of-care. This partnership overcomes the challenges of linking the disparate systems physicians use to complete a wide range of tasks. Our customers expect the best technologies and services available, as evidenced by our successful 19-year history with more than 3,000 healthcare professionals.
