In terms of cross-border and cross-sector reach, it is considered the most distinguished accolade for high quality design. At the “Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015", Haselmeier achieved a thoroughly convincing result.

Fifty-six nations submitted just under 5,000 entries and from these only those designs that display characteristics of quality and innovation and, by virtue of their own outstanding design, clearly differ from comparable designs were awarded a prize. The 38 members of the international jury were impressed by the Merck Serono Fertility Pens 1.0/1.1 and 2.0, the biopharmaceutical business of Merck, presented by Haselmeier and were awarded the internationally coveted Red Dot certificate of quality for outstanding quality design.
The Merck Serono Fertility Pens by Haselmeier not only have an excellent design, the innovative technology of this and other products from the Haselmeier range is an impressive part of the company’s success story.

The Red Dot Award has a long tradition: For 60 years, the most recognised body of design experts have been convening every year in Essen to award prizes to the best designs in the disciplines of “Product Design”, “Communication Design” and “Design Concept”. This year, the “Product Design” sector saw just under 5,000 entries alone and each individual product was thoroughly assessed by the jury members. Only the best designs made it through to the well-deserved distinction. Professor Dr. Peter Zec, Initiator and CEO of the Red Dot Awards: The laureates of the Red Dot Award - Product Design 2015 have demonstrated exceptionally high achievements and have thus been deservedly successful in the world’s largest design competition.” The winning products are incorporated into the permanent exhibition of the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen.
