PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Uncommon insight and out-of-the-box thinking will be acknowledged and celebrated Tuesday, April 24th as The Franklin Institute begins a four day whirlwind of events and activities surrounding their annual Franklin Institute Awards. Nine preeminent individuals, all trailblazers in their field, will be recognized and honored for their discoveries and achievements in science, business and technology. The work for which they will be cited either has a direct impact on our daily lives in some way, or contributes to our well-being. Seven Benjamin Franklin Medals and two Bower Awards will be presented to each laureate Thursday evening, April 26th at the gala ceremony and dinner.
