BEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fractal Antenna Systems, Inc. announced it has received a second patent notice of allowance (NOA) on invisibility cloaks. Upon issuance the new patent will secure rights on methods to make cloaks, fractal resonator (metamaterial) systems, and cloaks of different shapes, among other claims. The new patent will further expand the firm’s pioneering and proprietary position in the emerging and fascinating world of making things disappear.
The firm pioneered the fractal metamaterial that makes invisibility cloaks possible and its patented fractal metamaterial has been an integral part of customers’ products for 5 years, producing novel antenna systems for aerospace, M2M, and in-house cell phone boosters, among others.
