Forest Pharmaceuticals held a groundbreaking ceremony on a new packaging facility in Blue Ash on Thursday, which will bring 125 jobs to the area. Numerous City officials and Council Members were present to welcome Forest to the City. Site preparation and demolition continues at the site, which is located at Kenwood Road and Osborne Boulevard. The property was formerly home to Osborne Trucking Company and Kraft Foods. Forest Pharmaceuticals operates its manufacturing operations in Oakley, and Blue Ash will serve as the packaging site. The packaging facility, which also will include office space for the company, will be about 190,000 square feet. It will include warehousing, packaging, and component testing. Construction is slated to be complete by July 2014.
