CINCINNATI, July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Hill Top Research, a worldwide leader in clinical research for personal care and health care products, announced today that Dr. Mingyi Trimble has been hired as Technical Director, based at their Scottsdale, Arizona research center.

Dr. Trimble will be responsible for the technical quality of the studies conducted in Arizona and participate with Hill Top’s Technical Team to identify and lead the company into new areas of technology that support the company’s strategic direction. Dr. Trimble has extensive experience in human risk and exposure assessments and will consult on all safety studies performed at Hill Top Research.

Prior to joining Hill Top, Dr. Trimble worked as a risk assessor for the Louisiana Risk Assessment Program assisting the Louisiana Office of Public Health. She later became the State Toxicologist for the Department of Health and Welfare for the State of Idaho. Dr. Trimble left the government sector to join the nation-wide consulting firm, Environomics, where she was a project manager, supervising five regional offices.
Dr. Trimble received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Taipei Medical College. She later obtained her Masters degree in Human Health Risk Assessment and Regulatory Toxicology and her Doctoral degree in Toxicology at Tulane University.
