MD&M represents Delphi Medical Systems’ first major medical trade show, and is the largest event for medical device manufacturing in the world.

“We are excited about attending MD&M this year and reaching out to prospective customers who may not yet know us,” said Christophe Sevrain, managing director of Delphi Medical Systems Corporation. “Delphi Medical Systems is prepared to leverage Delphi’s history of success in innovative technologies to help bring new standards in quality, reliability and innovation to a global market well into the future.”
As a Delphi subsidiary, Delphi Medical Systems has access to Delphi’s technology experience and strength, as well as the global footprint needed to supply medical devices virtually anywhere in the world, focusing in the following areas:

* Infusion - From hospitals to homecare, a new generation of intravenous infusion devices is broadening market opportunities while improving patient satisfaction. Delphi’s technologies, including micro-electro-mechanical systems, power management, wireless communications, and electronic controls can be used in traditional and non-traditional therapies.

Delphi Medical Systems can bring new features in comfort, convenience and electronics integration to this market.
* Respiratory Care - Respiratory care equipment is moving into a variety of new and different settings. With access to decades of experience in bringing complex systems to market, Delphi Medical Systems is ready to improve CPAP/BiPAP systems, ventilators and spirometers through electronic controls, gas flow management, power and thermal management, wireless technologies, and precision molding capabilities.
* Vital Signs Monitoring - Delphi’s experience in providing high-value, small and more portable technology, ergonomic design, and remote connectivity can help monitoring systems manufacturers and distributors offer the opportunity to improve the quality of life for many patients. Delphi’s core competencies include wireless technologies, electronic controls, human interface technologies, and power management.
Capable of providing the technology building blocks to address challenges in a global market, Delphi Medical Systems recently announced an $80 million contract with Sunrise Medical, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of homecare and extended care products.
