Paris, April 12, 2010 The greentech company Deinove (the world’s leading specialist in the application of deinococci bacteria to biofuels and green chemistry) today announced that Bruno Weymuller had accepted its invitation to join the Board of Directors. As a former Strategy Director and Director of Risk Assessment at Total, Bruno Weymuller is an acknowledged petroleum industry expert.

Bruno will provide Deinove with the benefit of his in-depth experience of the fuels market”, commented Board Chairman Philippe Pouletty, MD. He added that “Given that Deinove is rapidly accelerating its development (with the high-priority DEINOL industrial project underway in collaboration TEREOS, for the production of more profitable bioethanol), Bruno’s arrival will help the company to pursue its strategy of international alliances in biofuels and green chemistry”.
Bruno Weymuller served as Strategy Director of the Total Group from 2000 to 2008. Born in 1948 in Mulhouse (France), he began his career at the French Ministry of Industry’s Lorraine Regional Directorate from 1972 to 1975. He was then appointed to the Ministry’s Energy Directorate in Paris from 1975 to 1978 and next joined Prime Minister Raymond Barre’s office from 1978 to 1981. He moved to Elf Aquitaine in 1991, where he held various head office positions (including Deputy CFO from 1985 to 1988 and CFO from 1994 to 2000). Bruno Weymuller also has experience in the oil exploration/extraction industry, after serving as a production manager with Elf in France from 1988 to 1994 and as CEO of the Elf Petroland subsidiary in The Hague from 1991 to 1994.
Bruno Weymuller is an alumnus of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole des Mines (Paris) and also holds an MSc from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
On April 7, 2010, Deinove announced its IPO on the Alternext market of NYSE Euronext. The closing date of the IPO and the Global Offering is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20.
