Blue Cross And Blue Shield Of Oklahoma To Offer Medicare-Approved Prescription Drug Discount Card

TULSA, Okla., May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma has been approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to offer a prescription drug discount card for seniors and other Oklahomans eligible for Medicare.

Medicare beneficiaries who choose the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma PrimeScript card can begin receiving discounts from participating pharmacies on June 1.

For a $30 fee, the cardholder can receive discounts of 10 to 78 percent on prescription drugs at participating pharmacies. A list of participating pharmacies -- more than 70 percent of Oklahoma pharmacies -- is included in the enrollment kit.

To check the amount of discounts for specific prescription drugs, call 1-800-684-9444 or go to http://www.bcbsok.com/ .
