Benefitfocus.com will provide online benefit maintenance and enrollment to BCBSKC small group clients.
Under the terms of the agreement, BCBSKC will use the Benefitfocus.com Small Group Enrollment and Workflow application to manage its existing 8,000 small group clients. The maintenance of small groups requires substantial attention to life event and open enrollment benefit changes. BCBSKC will also use the application to manage the complexities of workflow management, pre- enrollment and health statements of new groups.

When a user logs in, he/she enters into a unique section of the application designed for their assigned role, thus expediting the enrollment process from person-to-person within an organization. The Small Group Enrollment and Workflow application is password protected and compliant with security and privacy requirements.
