ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leaders from the international biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries gathered last week for the first annual BioPharm America™ partnering conference. The conference was held on September 9–10 in Atlanta, Georgia. BioPharm America drew 400 delegates representing over 258 companies from 24 countries who engaged in over 900 one-to-one partnering meetings. In addition, there were 11 workshops and panel sessions and 60 presentations by biotech companies seeking financing, licensing opportunities or partners for advancing the development of intellectual property.
