The new device consists of two separate components: a reusable Light Source and a disposable ear curette. When assembled, light from the Light Source is transmitted to the tip end of the curette illuminating the ear canal. After the procedure the disposable ear curette is removed from the Light Source and discarded. The Light Source is then ready for use with the next curette.
