Cardiff, UK, October 10, 2016 – BBI Solutions OEM Ltd (BBI) (www.bbisolutions.com), the leading provider of lateral flow diagnostics and biological raw materials, announced the successful acquisition of its previous joint venture with Novarum DX Ltd - a developer of smart phone applications for reading diagnostic tests, in line with the company’s expansion plans. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Edinburgh UK, Novarum DX provides unique software tools that lets users read and share the results of diagnostic tests using only a smartphone. Applications currently used in four continents daily, Novarum’s patent protected proprietary IP helps users reduce errors and provides more data to inform professional decisions.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition closed on 10th October 2016.
