LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Athletic Propulsion Labs® is proud to once again partner with the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a charitable program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, by releasing two special shoes for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
APL® will donate 10% of the gross sales price for each pair of the APL Men’s and Women’s TechLoom Pro (pink/pink) and Vision Low Men’s Basketball Shoe in Pink/Pink sold from October 2014 through December 2014 to the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a charitable program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $2,500 for the limited release.
The TechLoom Pro (available for both men and women) utilizes the woven TechLoom technology like never before. Bright pink covers the majority of the upper, while the remainder is a melange of pinks and raspberries making the shoe standout in a crowd. Additional details include a pink ribbon logo applied to each heel, and special sock liners stamped with “Hope” and “Cure.” The Propelium midsole adds extreme comfort, and a clear rubber outsole round out the package.
The Vision Low (available for men) combines a stunning upper with the proven performance of patented Load ‘N Launch® technology. A vibrant pink and raspberry upper are accented by a touch of metallic silver, while the clear rubber outsole shows way to a collection of inspirational words including strength, beauty, family, and courage to name a few. The same “Hope” and “Cure” sock liners are present here, as well as a pink ribbon logo on the tongue.
“Following last year’s success of the APL Concept 3 BCA, we are excited to release two new shoes to again bring awareness to a great cause. With the introduction of the TechLoom Pro, this year we are able to also offer these special edition products for women. We are happy to once again be working with Entertainment Industry Foundation to help raise money for the Women’s Cancer Research Fund.” said Ryan Goldston, Co-Founder of Athletic Propulsion Labs.
“Being able to make the BCA Vision Low and TechLoom Pro for men and women is really special to Ryan and I, because our grandmother passed away after her courageous battle with breast cancer. While we are proud of every product we make, the BCA products hold a special place in our heart as they were created to honor her and her fight with this terrible disease. Having the ability to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research through our products is something that Ryan and I feel very fortunate to be able to do and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than the EIF.” said Adam Goldston, Co-Founder of Athletic Propulsion Labs.
The $140.00 APL TechLoom Pro for Men and Women, along with the $150.00 APL Vision Low for Men will be available exclusively at www.athleticpropulsionlabs.com starting Monday October 6th, 2014.
