Ankeny-based Accu-Mold has won state approval for about $1.7 million in tax credits for an expansion of its Ankeny facility as part of a $20 million project expected to create 200 jobs. The plastics injection molder must pay 36 workers at least $25.52 per hour to receive the aid. Accu-Mold began operations in 1986 and makes small and micro precision plastic parts, lead-frame parts and subassemblies used by high-tech customers in microelectronics, medical and optics applications.
