BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J., July 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Access Communications Inc., which was formed in 1997 to provide managed markets and medical education expertise and evolved into a full-service healthcare communications agency, today announced that its Creative Services group has received its first advertising distinction.
Access’s advertisement for ISTA Pharmaceuticals’ Vitrase(R) was ranked as one of the top five ads in the March/April issue of Retinal Physician. Eighty-nine percent of Retinal Physician readers surveyed rated the Vitrase(R) ad as either having excellent or good noticeability. Access’s Creative Services group developed both the layout and copy for the Vitrase(R) ad.
“We are extremely pleased that the outstanding work of Access’s Creative Services group has had such an impact on its target audience,” said Michael Mitrow, Jr., President of Access Communications, Inc. “As a full-service agency that is committed to providing our clients with the highest level of expertise across our spectrum of services, we take great pride in this most recent achievement.”
Access Communications provides a broad array of strategic healthcare communications offerings to its clients, including managed market programs, labor union pull-through programs, meeting services, the proprietary sales force and account management Strategic Event Planning System (StEPS), and a full array of promotional capabilities.
“The goal of Access’s Creative Services group is to achieve brand growth and dominance in the most competitive healthcare marketplaces,” said Rick Tirabasso, Director of Creative Services, Access Communications, Inc. “The Retinal Physician ranking reinforces that our creative efforts are on target and that we are delivering the intended results to our clients.”
Promotional services provided by Access include brand identity, strategic planning, market research and consulting, special markets development, product launches, concept development, print advertising targeted to professionals and consumers, sales force tools, in-office materials, media planning, videos and TV commercials, and websites and interactivity.
The Retinal Physician rankings were determined by a Signet AdProbe(TM) study which asked survey respondents to rate the noticeablility of particular ads as excellent, good, fair, or poor. The AdProbe(TM) score is a measure of advertisement effectiveness calculated by adding the excellent noticeability percentage to the good noticeability percentage. The study, conducted by Signet Research, Inc., was an online survey of 100 readers of Retinal Physician. Access’s Vitrase(R) ad, ranked number four, was the only pharmaceutical advertisement to be ranked in the top ten of the March/April issue.
