BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J., July 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Access Communications Inc. today announces the addition of 6 seasoned healthcare marketing and communications executives to its headquarters office in Berkeley Heights, N.J., and its West Coast office in La Jolla, California, bringing the total number of new professionals hired in 2005 to 33. Brenda Leopardi joins Access Communications Inc. in Berkeley Heights as Senior Vice President of Operations, bringing 14 years of experience in the medical education arena. Prior to joining Access, Ms. Leopardi was Vice President of Corporate Operations with Healthcare Marketing Services, a business of Cardinal Health. In this role, she was the champion of a corporate-wide process re-engineering initiative, responsible for the consolidation and integration of operating models/platforms for 15 independent Cardinal Health business units. Prior to that, Ms. Leopardi held the position of Vice President of Operations for three different divisions within Cardinal Health; Strategic Implications International, Modesta Communications, and Armond Scott. In this role she was responsible for day-to-day management of a team of five directors and revenues in excess of $160 million. Before her role at Cardinal Health, Ms Leopardi held several positions of increasing responsibility within Boron LePore and Associates, culminating in her role as Associate Vice President.
Also joining the Berkeley Heights office are Deborah Knox, Senior Program Coordinator, Diane Orrei, Program Coordinator, Sarah Harris Kreisler, Program Manager, and Andrew West, Administrative Assistant. Jace Emmerick joined the La Jolla office as an Account Executive.
