BALTIMORE, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelera Corp., a leader in interactive e-learning for medical professionals, announced today that it has become a licensee of Johns Hopkins Medicine International. Johns Hopkins Medicine International is the organization tasked with sharing the best of Hopkins research, education, and patient care with institutions and physicians throughout the world.
Under the new agreement, Accelera aims to further strengthen its relationships with the Hopkins medical community to co-develop new educational solutions for healthcare professionals in the United States and abroad.

As part of the new agreement, Accelera will establish a demonstration laboratory at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine to foster among the faculty members new and creative approaches to e-learning. Additionally, Accelera will sponsor quarterly events for Hopkins healthcare providers to serve as a forum for sharing the latest developments and trends in e-learning.

Previously, Accelera provided Johns Hopkins with e-learning solutions under an agreement with the Johns Hopkins University. The new agreement between Accelera and Johns Hopkins Medicine International is effective immediately, and the learning laboratory will open in the second quarter of this year.
