Scotsman -- MEDICAL testing kit maker Axis-Shield yesterday played down a regulatory set-back in the United States, saying the outcome would have “no material impact” on its sales. The Dundee-based company applied for permission in February 2009 for one of its diabetes testing kits to be used by non-doctors to test patients.
