SEBRING, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aurora Diagnostics announced today that it has acquired Pathology Associates of Sebring, a hospital-based practice that provides pathology services to Highlands Regional Medical Center.

The acquisition expands the footprint of Aurora Diagnostics, based in Palm Beach Gardens, into Central Florida. With this acquisition, Aurora Diagnostics has four lab locations in Florida. This is the eighth acquisition that Aurora Diagnostics has successfully completed since 2013 under its current management team and the sixth in the hospital laboratory sector.
