SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Axway, Inc. today announced that AstraZeneca has selected its Synchrony™ Supply Chain Integrity Suite to enable track and trace as part of the Product Safety Data Management (PSDM) initiative, which is part of the company’s previously announced program to protect patients from counterfeit medicines. With Axway’s assistance, AstraZeneca’s PSDM initiative is the first in the industry that implements a global infrastructure and strategy across multiple packaging lines and production sites to safeguard patients. The initial scope of PSDM includes 25 packaging lines and 12 worldwide sites, not including the US sites or supply chain.
