Tokyo, Feb 10, 2006 (JCN) - Astellas Pharma and Taisho Pharmaceutical commented February 9 on a news report by the Asahi Shimbun. The February 9 morning edition of the newspaper reported that the two companies have been in the final stage of discussion on the acquisition of Zepharma, Astella Pharma’s subsidiary, by Taisho Pharmaceutical.
