(NASDAQ: SLXP) (the “Company” or “Salix”) today provided notice of an anticipated Make-Whole Fundamental Change to holders of its 1.5% Convertible Senior Notes due 2019 (the “Notes”). Reference is hereby made to that certain Indenture, dated as of March 16, 2012 (the “Indenture”), by and between the Company and U.S. Bank National Association, as trustee (in such capacity, the “Trustee”).
