PRA International, Inc. CRA Named US Clinical Researcher of the Year

RALEIGH, N.C., April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PRA International, a leading Clinical Research Organization, is pleased to announce that one of our CRAs, Jo West, won the 2011 US Clinical Researcher of the Year's CRA/Site Manager award at the competition's finals ceremony held recently in King of Prussia, PA.

Ms. West, who works in North Carolina, competed with more than 250 other contestants in a rigorous three-stage process that included an interview/presentation conducted at the finals event. Entries were judged by an executive steering committee comprised of senior industry leaders as well as members of PharmaTimes, a U.K.-based news organization that sponsors the competition.

PRA staff participated in two of the competition's four categories, CRA/Site Manager and Trial Manager/Study Leader/Project Manager, and five other staff members were named as finalists.
