Pfizer is pledging to keep jobs in England if it wins the bidding for London-based AstraZeneca. Maryland lawmakers want the same promise. The Washington Post reported they have penned a letter to Pfizer asking the New York-based pharmaceutical giant to ensure it will not shed jobs at Gaithersburg-based MedImmune should it succeed in acquiring parent company AstraZeneca.
