Cleveland Clinic Canada Names New President

CLEVELAND, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Blazar, formerly Chief Marketing Officer for Cleveland Clinic, was recently named President of Cleveland Clinic Canada, Toronto Health and Wellness Centre. Opened in early 2007 and located in the heart of Toronto's financial district, the Centre provides executive health physicals and offers many specialized health and wellness programs.

As President, Mr. Blazar will focus on program development, medical staff recruitment, operational efficiency and marketing the Toronto Health and Wellness Centre.

He launched an updated umbrella brand campaign across Cleveland Clinic's entire health system, spearheaded the institution's first national advertising campaign and developed the first Community Benefits Report, reporting Cleveland Clinic's contributions to the Northeast Ohio community.

In addition, Mr. Blazar was part of the birth of Cleveland Clinic's international outreach and led marketing efforts for the launch of Cleveland Clinic Canada and the health system's first major exhibit at Arab Health 2007, the largest medical conference in the Middle East, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Toronto Health and Wellness Centre is Cleveland Clinic's first operational venture outside the United States.
