Cantel Medical Acquires Verimetrix, LLC, Launching Proprietary Leak and Fluid Detection Technology for Its Medivators Business Group

LITTLE FALLS, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CANTEL MEDICAL CORP. (NYSE: CMN), has expanded its Medivators Endoscope Reprocessing product line by purchasing the assets of Verimetrix, LLC. Verimetrix, based in St. Louis, Missouri, designs, markets, and sells the Veriscan™ Pro V2.2 System, a state-of-the-art endoscope leak and fluid detection device that provides customers with superior accuracy, complete automation, and comprehensive electronic record keeping and reporting. The Veriscan System enables customers not only to reduce scope repair costs and improve the productivity of their scope inventory, but also establish greater staff efficiencies and retain accurate performance records. The business being acquired has pre-acquisition annual revenues of approximately $2.0 million and is expected to be accretive in FY ‘08.
