Alcon employs roughly 22,000 people, including about 2,400 people at its facility east of Interstate 35W and south of Interstate 20 in Fort Worth, the Star-Telegram reported. Alcon has been headquartered in Fort Worth since it was founded in 1945, the newspaper reported.
