HealthSTAR Public Relations Hires John Quick, Director Of Client Services
NEW YORK, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthSTAR Public Relations, LLC (HSPR) announced today that John Quick has joined the firm as Director of Client Services.
"With nearly 20 years in communications and public relations, John brings a wealth of experience across the pharmaceutical, device, non-profit and health services industries. Throughout his career, John has provided marketing communications and issues management support to products covering a variety of disease areas including allergy, Alzheimer's, cardiovascular, diabetes, hepatitis B, hemophilia, oncology, Parkinson's, schizophrenia and transplantation," says Helene Ellison, Chief Executive Officer of HSPR.

Prior to joining HSPR, Quick served as an integral and embedded member of AstraZeneca's marketing team, supporting Seroquel for schizophrenia and bipolar mania. Previously, he led the New York Health and Pharmaceutical practice of Hill & Knowlton and was general manager of Noonan Russo, a healthcare communications specialty firm. Quick also spent nearly a decade at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide where he served in a variety of leadership positions ranging from vice president to Global Business Director.
Quick received a B.A. in Communications / English from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a M.S. in Communications from Iona College. In addition to sitting on the Cancer Care Communications Council, Quick is a member of the Communique' Editorial Advisory Board.
