Johnson & Johnson said Thursday that it will require distributors and wholesalers to purchase its prescription drugs directly from the firm in an effort to stop counterfeit medications from entering the market.The health-care giant said it is sending 210,000 letters to health-care providers and pharmacists notifying them of the initiative and of how they can find out if their distributors are participating.
