Biotech/Pharma Earnings Today

January 27, 2005 -- The parade of companies announcing earnings continued today, with many major pharma and biotech entities releasing their latest numbers. At times, it seemed like the companies making money were punished in subsequent trading, while those reporting losses saw their stocks move higher. But, as always, the real issue is the outlook, the future. Analysts are less concerned with the here and now, preferring the look ahead, the eternal cry of What have you done for me lately?
