Scottsdale, Arizona--(Newsfile Corp. - February 15, 2022) - PathogenDx, a biotechnology company setting the standard in molecular testing, Formula Diagnostics (“FDX”), a provider of clinical laboratories and health services, and Bashas’ Food City, a family-owned-and-operated grocer, announced a community service partnership, which is bringing uninsured individuals in Phoenix and Mesa access to COVID-19 testing at no cost. The Arizona-based companies will be dedicating time and volunteering resources to deliver safe, accurate and fast tests, with results available within 24 to 48 hours.

Arizonans in need of a COVID-19 test can visit one of two drive-thru testing locations: Bashas’ Food City 12 at 2124 McDowell Road in Phoenix; and Bashas’ Food City 10 at 1342 E Main Street in Mesa. Starting on Tuesday, February 15, the PathogenDx-FDX-Bashas’ Food City sponsored testing sites will be open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“We, along with our partners Formula Diagnostics and Bashas’ Food City, feel a responsibility to help the uninsured in our local communities, which we not only work in, but live in,” said PathogenDx Co-founder and CEO Milan Patel. “We will be providing Arizonians access to a crucial tool in our fight against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and dedicating our time and resources at these two centrally located testing sites in Phoenix and Mesa to help ensure the health and safety of our communities.”

Individuals do not need to make an appointment, and tests will be available at no cost. Those insured should bring their insurance card. Those without insurance will need to provide their social security or sign an attestation stating that they are uninsured. Participants will receive a text and email once test results are available, and will be able to access results online via a patient portal.
