MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 2006--American Medical Systems Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMMD - News) reported preliminary sales of $78.8 million for the second quarter of 2006, a 20.0 percent increase over sales of $65.6 million in the comparable quarter of 2005. Preliminary sales for the first six months of 2006 were reported at $152.4 million, a 19.3 percent increase over sales of $127.8 million for the comparable period of 2005.
