FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 16, 2007 -- Alpine Biomed and Standard Instruments announced today a multi-year distribution agreement that will expand Alpine’s gastroenterology diagnostic product and technology set. Alpine Biomed will continue to distribute Standard Instruments’ state-of-the-art pH recording systems for the diagnosis of Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD); the agreement increases Alpine’s GI product line with Standard Instruments’ new systems for combined pH/impedance recording as well as several new solutions for functional testing in Gastroenterology.
