Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (Jobs) Announces the Termination of its Collaboration with Merck & Co., Inc. (Jobs)

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALNY - News), a leading RNAi therapeutics company, announced today that Merck & Co., Inc. (“Merck”) and Alnylam have mutually agreed to terminate their July 2006 amended and restated agreement. As a result, Alnylam has rescinded all grants of its intellectual property related to current and future Merck development programs, including the partnership’s former co-development programs.
