Aldeyra Therapeutics Launches Proposed Follow-On Public Offering Of Common Stock

LEXINGTON, Mass., May 5, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aldeyra Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq:ALDX) (Aldeyra), a biotechnology company focused on the development of products to treat diseases related to free aldehydes, today announced that it has commenced a proposed follow-on public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock. All shares of common stock to be sold in the offering will be offered by Aldeyra. Aldeyra also expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 450,000 shares of common stock in the public offering.

Cowen and Company, LLC and Canaccord Genuity Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers and Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and Laidlaw & Company (UK) Ltd. are acting as co-managers for the offering.

A registration statement relating to the shares to be sold in the offering has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, but has not yet become effective.
