specialty medical device company focused on plastic surgery and aesthetics
medicine, today announced the close of an $85 million Series B financing,
one of the largest private funding rounds in the medical device sector.
Sientra also announced that it has acquired the assets of Silimed Inc., a
leading developer of plastic surgery implants for both cosmetic and
reconstructive surgery.
