WASHINGTON, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The deadline for advance, online registration for those seeking media credentials for the Biotechnology Industry Organization’s (BIO) 2006 Annual Convention, April 9-12, 2006 at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center, will be March 31, 2006, at 5 p.m. EST.
This will be the last date for freelancers who wish to apply for media credentials to submit letters from editors, and for web-based and college publications to apply. To register, please visit http://www.bio.org/news/pressreg/mediareg.asp?multievent=14.
On-site media registration will be available starting Saturday, April 8, at 9 a.m. at the McCormick Place Convention Center. Only reporters and editors working full-time for print or broadcast news organizations may register on site with valid, current media credentials (i.e. official picture identification from the employing news organization). Without proper, approved credentials, on site media registration will be denied. Freelance journalists and web-based publications will not be able to register on-site.
