Tokyo, June 22, 2006 (JCN) - Toray Industries recently announced that it has concluded a licensing agreement with Acologix, a California biopharmaceutical company specializing in the field of osteo-renal diseases, for AC-200 (phosphatonin), a drug candidate being developed by Acologix. AC-200 is a recombinant protein intended for the treatment of hyperphosphatemia.
